Elementary Education Programs
The Mary Ward Centre offers a variety of learning opportunities for elementary school students. The in-person programs are highly interactive with facilitators coming on-site to schools in the Greater Toronto Area. The storytime webinar series and Kenya learning exchange can be done virtually. All programs are free, with a suggested contribution to support our ministry work.

This presentation will engage students in hands-on activities to learn about saints. Geared for the primary grades (K-2), students will explore what it means to be a saint, basic stories of saints, Mary Ward and the Loretto Sisters as community helpers, and how we can be holy helpers too. Activities involve a combination of: plush dolls, wooden magnets, board books, dance, and/or Saints bingo, depending on the grade level. See more workshop details regarding curriculum connections.
